McDaniels Leaving EDC for Lake Norman

McDanielsConcord - Ryan McDaniels, current vice-President of Cabarrus Economic Development, will be leaving his post to become the  new executive director of the Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corporation. McDaniels will take his post on April 15.

In a statement, McDaniels said, “The towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville offer numerous benefits to new and expanding businesses considering North Carolina and the Charlotte region."

"Ryan's finger prints will be all over the Cabarrus economy for years to come, President of the Cabarrus EDC, John Cox, told Cabarrus Business. "He's played his role effectively and distinguished himself as a regional leader.  We miss him already a s wish him well."

McDaniels has been with Cabarrus Economic Development since 2001.
