CONCORD  – According to the National Retail Federation, the retail industry added more than 66,000 jobs during fall of 2013. Gearing up for the upcoming holiday season, Concord Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in North Carolina, will host a Job Fair, matching job seekers with dozens of top retailers and eateries on Wednesday, October 29.

“We are thrilled to help our retailers enhance their sales forces in preparation for the demands of the busy holiday season,” said Nan Gray, director of marketing and business development at Concord Mills. “As an economic catalyst with thousands of local employment opportunities, we are pleased to be able to match those in need of work with new full and part-time positions.”

Attendees are encouraged to visit participating retailers, which will have an employment opportunities sign in the window.   Available retail and restaurant positions include full and part-time sales, server, cashier, management and key-holder opportunities at Banana Republic Factory Store, Coach Factory Store, Dave & Buster’s, P.S. from Aéropostale, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza, Vera Bradley Outlet and many more.

Retailers will be prepared to review resumes, provide applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Concord Mills recommends that applicants arrive early to secure the best positions, bring identification and dress to impress.
