CM Publisher, Jason Huddle and Maverick Entertainment Owner, Mark Allen, interview a passer by on the streets of Concord.

Concord - Cabarrus Magazine and Maverick Entertainment (MEI) have announced a new partnership that will add a new level of editorial coverage of the area by the almost 15 year-old publication. Each month fans of the magazine will be able to go beyond the articles in that month's issue and learn more about the community.
"We wanted to go more in-depth with editorial, but there's only so much space in the magazine," said CM Publisher, Jason Huddle. "Now, with the launch of our new website, we can use this new series to visit the locations we talk about in the magazine and go deeper into the stories. We think our readers will enjoy this new level of coverage and our new YouTube channel will hopefully help attract those from outside the region to the area!"
Maverick Entertainment Owner, Mark Allen, is also excited
about his new partnership with CM.  “As a video storyteller, this is a ideal complement to what Jason is doing with the magazine,” said Mark Allen, president of  Harrisburg-based Maverick Entertainment, Inc.

Maverick Entertainment, Inc. is a video production company that has produced content seen on numerous national cable networks, as well as the Internet. MEI also concepts and produces video projects for corporations and local businesses.

Allen added, “There are a lot of exciting things happening in Cabarrus County, and hopefully our videos will capture some of that energy.”

The first installment of the new series, which has yet to be titled, will be posted on the Cabarrus Magazine website at the beginning of August and subsequent installments can be expected each month. Each installment will run approximately three minutes in length.
