Homemade Apple-Blackberry Pie

ingredients

4-5 Granny Smith apples (about 5 cups) peeled and sliced thin

1 cup fresh blackberries

1/2 tsp. ginger powder

1/8 tsp. nutmeg

3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

3 Tbsp. cold butter (cubed)

1 store-bought 9-inch pie crust

Directions

Roll out pie crust and press firmly into a 9-inch glass pie dish, making sure there are no air pockets. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Put mixture into crust, then roll top crust over. Crimp edges of top and bottom crusts. Cut a hole in the center to release steam while baking. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool for two hours before cutting. Enjoy!
