Winter Storm Warning in Western North Carolina

Heavy snowfall likely across Northeast Georgia and the Western Carolinas Friday January 6th, 2017.
A wave of low pressure moving along a cold front tonight and Saturday morning is expected to bring accumulating snowfall across much of the region. This is likely to cause travel difficulties tonight and Saturday morning.
Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Saturday.
