Former Kannapolis City Schools’ student, Marcie Trivette, was crowned Miss North Carolina United States 2017. This win means that she will continue onto the national level to compete in the Miss United States Pageant during the summer.

Marcie is the second KCS student to receive this honor within the last three years. She grew up in the Kannapolis area attending KC Schools all throughout her elementary years, eventually attending Mt. Pleasant High School, where she graduated.

Her pageant platform was for Autism Speaks, an incredibly beneficial program.

Congratulations Marcie!
