On Thursday, March 9, from 6:00 to 8:30pm, Classic Art Gift Gallery is hosting a fundraising event to benefit Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County. Ten percent of the purchase price of every item bought at the event – and through the month of March – will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club’s capitol building campaign.
Valerie Melton, director of the Boys & Girls Club, says, “I’m excited about how Classic Art Gift Gallery is jumping up to help us with our much-needed new building. We have worked with Joe Panko for years, and he and his wife Susan have been a big help to the club in many ways. We hope the community will attend on March 9 and stop by throughout the month of March and buy a bear to help build our building.”
This free event is open to the public and will include a silent auction, featuring autographed items by Luke Kuechly, Joe Montana, Julio Jones, David Thompson, Roy Williams and many others.
Classic Art Gift Gallery, located at 273 Executive Park Drive N.E. in Concord, is home to an impressive inventory of Boyds Bears, Jim Shore collections, Walt Disney, Wizard of Oz, dolls, action figures, vast sports memorabilia…something for every gift-giving occasion. And, if you’re a collector, you’re sure to find that perfect item.
Please join Joe and Sue Panko, owners of Classic Art Gift Gallery, for this family-friendly event. The Pankos have earned a reputation as community philanthropists, donating time, gift items and finances to area children and non-profits. For more information, call Joe Panko at 704-782-7703, or Valerie Melton, Boys & Girls Club executive director, at 704-721-2582.
