"Unicorn Milk" Twenty-Six Acres' July 2017 Beer of the Month

Jul 26, 2017 06:20PM ● By Melanie Heisinger
Our monthly pair up with Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company for the Beer of the Month is here! This month of July is all about supporting a good cause. What's better than a cold beer during the heat of the summer that not only tastes great, but is helping support ACEing Autism

This past February, Twenty-Six Acres participated in the Queen City Beer Festival. Each brewery was given an option to create a Super Brew to add to their offerings, with the stipulation that a “white” and/or “blue” ingredient was used – the colors of the ACEing Autism

According to the owners, "For Super Brew, we decided to brew a Cream Ale, and then add vanilla and blueberries during conditioning.  What we ended up with was a well-balanced, silky smooth beer, with the sweetness of vanilla rounded out by the gentle tartness of the berries."
People seemed to love the beer at the festival, and in the taproom. So, it's been added to their warm-weather offerings!

Try out their Vanilla Blueberry Cream Ale "Unicorn Milk" the next time you visit Twenty-Six Acres!
