"What's HOP-ening?" Twenty-Six Acres' August 2017 Brew of the Month

Aug 15, 2017 03:05PM ● By Melanie Heisinger

Twenty-Six Acres' Chilly Bin

Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company is back with their August 2017 Beer of the Month!

This month is all about traveling to the far off land of New Zealand where gorgeous views and lush earth is prominent.

Enjoy their hoppy "One For The Chilly Bin" brew to celebrate the end of summer and the anticipation of Fall.

Twenty-Six Acres' Chilly Bin

"Chilly Bin" is the New Zealand slang term for a cooler, which seems appropriate for cooling off in the warm month of August. New Zealand hops are the cornerstone of this crisp, wheat IPA.

Perfect for drinking on a hot summer day, or a crisp Autumn evening, One For The Chilly Bin starts with a lemongrass bouquet on the nose, tastes tart and citrusy on the pallet, then finishes clean and dry, leaving you ready for the next sip. Azacca and Motueka hops, both from New Zealand, were used to create the aromatics and hop flavors that balance out the firm body from the wheat and flaked oats.

Enjoy one while it lasts!

Try out their Vanilla Blueberry Cream Ale "Unicorn Milk" the next time you visit Twenty-Six Acres!
