Commander Rodney Moss, from Concord, North Carolina, was assigned to the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74).

To bring up the crew's spirits for the holidays, Cmdr. Moss grabbed his drumsticks and started playing the drums. He did this during a holiday event held by the ship's crew in the hangar bay.

John C. Stennis is in port conducting routine training as it continues preparing for its next scheduled deployment.

Thanks for keeping everyone's spirits up while they are away! And thank you for your service!
