Don't worry, we can help you out. You could be looking to change up the routine with your spouse or longtime partner or involved in a newly budding relationship and want to truly impress at the last minute. No matter what the situation, we've got a few ideas for you.

We've compiled a few fun and unique last minute date night ideas that are sure to impress (and seem not-so-last-minute). Check these out, and make sure you tell us how it went in the comments below!

Date 1: Brewery Hop

Yes, that's a hops pun you see there! For a fun date that doesn't feel so last minute, why not go brew tasting? Cabarrus County is flush with some tasty local breweries that aren't only fun, but they have a great selection of brews. They also each have food, so even less planning needs to go into it, but you will both still have a blast.

See our list of breweries below!

Twenty-Six Acres Brewing Company

Date 2: Catch the Sunset

The weather during the winter can be somewhat unpredictable in Cabarrus County. So, you have two options when it comes to catching the sunset together.

1) Brave the cold and have a sunset picnic outside.
2) Stay warm and picnic in your car.

Whichever option you choose, we have ideas! Make the picnic fun by stopping by the Piedmont Farmers Market, open every Saturday at 8am, to grab any goodies you may need.

Once you've successfully filled your basket and helped local businesses, hop in the car and head to Rob Wallace Park. According to the county website, "Rob Wallace Park is a 143-acre gift of its natural habitat, with plans that phase the land into a modern and green space to enjoy the outdoors."

There are so many great spots to set up a picnic outside, and likewise there are also easy places to park. Click here to view the park map so you can easily pick your spot.

Bundle up and enjoy your time together. To really earn bonus points, make a special mix with songs you both enjoy.

No matter what, make sure to bring a blanket!

Date 3: Local Theatre

No matter what the occasion, it's always impressive to bring a date to the theatre. There are some great local theaters in Cabarrus County all year round, it's only a matter of picking which one! Sometimes shows sell out, so be sure to call around before you tell your date about anything. Luckily, you will most likely find something, and it won't feel last minute!

The Old Courthouse Theater is a great option if they are in season. They are currently in the middle of auditions for their next show, but be sure to check back in. This local theater is fully staffed and run by volunteers. It is regularly supported through the sale of season tickets, private donations, sponsors, individual ticket sales and lastly, by a Grassroots Grant through the Cabarrus Arts Council. What a great option that would not only impress, but support local!

The Davis Theater is connected with the Cabarrus Arts Council and hosts bands and performances at The Listening Room, which is where local creatives have the opportunity to perform on the Davis Theatre stage. To see a full list of upcoming shows, you can visit their website
