Culinary Camp

Does your student love to cook? This is the camp for you! We will learn the basics of food safety, baking, knife skills, and planning meals all while having a BLAST. We will be working with the experts of Rowan-Salisbury Schools Food Service department and local restaurateurs who are leaders in the field of food service and hospitality. Future chefs will be in the making!

Advanced Coding Camp (Open to Salisbury Community Schools)
Eligible schools: Knox, Overton, Isenberg, KoontzJune 25th- 28th

Learn how to create computer programs, dive deep into the language that your cell phone and computer uses every day. During this coding camp, you will work with drones, robots and game design. Transportation can be provided to and from camp if needed.

K-2 Kids Coding Camp

If you love robots and trying to figure out how they work, this camp is for you! Our young campers will start each day learning the basics of coding before working with a variety of robots in design and team challenges. Ozobots, beebots, nanobots and lego robotics are just a few of the different robots our campers will be coding! In conjunction with the NOVANT STEM Scholars Program, our campers will have the added bonus of middle school students mentoring them through several challenges.

Campers who attend this camp will participate in a broad variety of digital experiences including coding, robotics, 3D printing/design, and immersive virtual reality. Each day of camp will provide an exploration of how each of these technologies is used in careers that require skilled technicians and specialist to develop their computational thinking.

Camp Invention Returns Again!

Camp Invention is one week in the summer where your child’s creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. Our top priority is to inspire future innovators and build their confidence in the natural ability to dream and create. Classic Summer Camps
WinShape Camps

WinShape Camps for Communities is a day camp that provides a professionally trained staff to create the most fun and meaningful camp for completed 1st-9th graders in town. WinShape Camps for Communities partners with local churches and Chick-fil-A operators to provide an exciting camp experience for campers right here in Concord.
Whether your kids like soccer or science, there is something for everyone. WinShape Camps combines sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one unforgettable week.
At WinShape Camps, we are in relentless pursuit of the ultimate camp experience; one that challenges campers to sharpen their character, grow in their relationships, and deepen their Christian faith.

Half Day Adventure Camps

A variety of experiences from paddleboat polo and mini-golf to creek stomping and hiking will engage young minds in Adventure Camp. Kayak and log-rolling camps will increase participants confidence in the water.
Watercraft Teen Camp (with expedition) will engage our older campers in all types of water sports including kayaking, logrolling, canoeing, paddle boating, and tubing. We will even be offering archery camp for the warrior in all of us. Spring break camp will be out of this world with the theme of Star Wars!

Cannon Memorial YMCA Summer Camps

Our traditional summer and preschool camps encourage kids to explore new adventures through hands-on learning. Youth can find out who they are in Teen and Leaders in Training (LIT) Camps. Cannon Y Summer Camp is a safe and engaging place!
Locations include Kannapolis, West Cabarrus, and Harrisburg.

Breakfast, lunch, prepared fresh daily, and an afternoon snack are included in the program at no extra cost. Each day children participate in a variety of activities such as arts & crafts, computers, game room, life skills, performing arts, and physical fitness.
The Summer Program schedule includes weekly field trips to a variety of fun places like the Gem Theater, Starlight Theater, Kannapolis Rec Park, Fries Skating Rink, and many more. Each group also gets to spend a few weeks at Camp Spencer, where they have the opportunity to swim in the pool, canoe, fish, and participate in other special programs.

Creative Endeavors
Hive & Co. Summer Camp

Each day, they plan a well-paced line up of projects, involving a wide variety of materials, subjects, and art principles. Throughout the week, students could have the chance to explore decoupage, painting, drawing, chalk pastel, oil pastel, sculpture, papier mache, collage, or printmaking!
Session runs 9am-12pm: $125 includes all materials & snacks & drinks.
Session One July 17-19: 5-8 year olds

The Pottery Cottage

We have been planning since January and have an action packed agenda to keep any kid (age 5-12) happy!!! All of our camp weeks are themed and are curriculum-based so kids actually learn while having fun. Each week we will paint on canvas, work with clay and pottery wheel, paint pottery, paint on wood, create a recycled/up-cycled masterpiece, fuse glass and much more. We never repeat the same activity twice!

This year’s exploration will focus on encouraging students to explore painting, sculpting and mixed media. They will learn various techniques for painting and new ways to create images. A field trip to one of our North Carolina art galleries will be included in the cost of camp. Come let your imagination take the wheel!

Creative Arts in the Community

Join us as we explore the community through the lens of the creative arts. Visual arts and writing will go hand in hand as we take daily field trips to explore our local community. Campers will learn the basics of photography and a variety of related art forms to compliment original writing projects while creating a keepsake scrapbook.

Camp Flip Flop![]() Looking for a great summer camp experience for your children this summer? Cabarrus County Gymnastics has just the camp for you! They have half day and full day summer camps for elementary aged children and a half day camp for your pre-schoolers. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available. Full Day Camp Flip Flop - Rising K - 5th grade Cost: $184/week The full day Camp Flip Flop is from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Activities include gymnastics, games, crafts, and more!
