The City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department is excited to present another holiday program. Arctic Express will take children on an imaginary journey visiting winter festivals around the world on Thursday, December 4th at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Village Park, between West A and C Streets, Kannapolis. The program is $2 per person. Children can join Conductor Steve as he takes them on a voyage around the world to learn about various winter festivals. The program takes an entertaining look at a variety of festivals and holidays from each end of the Earth. Steve combines a unique blend of education and entertainment to creatively teach about holidays like Diwali, Kwanzaa, Solstice, Lunar New Year, Ramadan and Hanuk.
