KESC Holds Environmental Classes Kannapolis - The Kannapolis Environmental Stewardship Commission (ESC) is holding a series of free environmental classes during the month of August. The classes are designed to educate the public on environmental issues, how they affect the world around us and what we can do to help improve our environment.
“Being educated on a matter is the first step in understanding a problem,” said Kannapolis Community Outreach Coordinator, Renee Goodnight. “This is a great opportunity for people in the community to come out and learn more about the world around them and the issues our environment faces.”
Classes will be held each Thursday during the month of August beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Old Cabarrus Bank Building in Cannon Village , 201 West Ave. , Kannapolis . To register, please contact Elizabeth Cox at ecox@cityofkannapolis.com or 704-920-4314.
