| Hayes Trying to Change Philip Morris’ Mind Thursday, June 28, 2007 (937 reads)
Concord – US Congressman Robin Hayes, who represents the 8th district of North Carolina, is starting an initiative to change the minds of the corporate heads who decided, quite surprisingly, to close down the Philip Morris plant in Concord. According to the company, the move is being made purely for financial reasons and that is what makes Hayes believe he can persuade them to reconsider.
