Arrest Made in Armed Robberies Friday, August 31, 2007 (878 reads)
Concord - Progress is being made in the robbery investigation that started Monday evening, August 27th after two Hispanic owned grocery stores were robbed in Concord. Investigators from Concord, Kannapolis, Huntersville and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police / FBI Safe Streets Gang Task Force have joined together in this investigation.

Concord-Kannapolis – Due to the continued drought the region is experiencing and the resulting reduced stream flows, Concord City Manager Brian Hiatt, Kannapolis City Manager Mike Legg, Landis Town Administrator Reed Linn, and Harrisburg Town Administrator Carl Parmer have announced the formal implementation of mandatory water use restrictions for all customers. These local governments are asking all customers to voluntarily conserve water to assist us with achieving our three to five percent reduction goal.
