Kannapolis —On July 12, 2007, at 9:30 a.m., Kannapolis Police Department responded to Wachovia Bank located at 704 N. Cannon Boulevard in reference to a robbery. A subject entered and demanded that the tellers place money in a book bag.  No weapon was displayed. 

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’9” to 6’3” tall, weighing between 220 and 280 pounds.  He was wearing a black ski mask, a yellow and white horizontally striped t-shirt, blue jeans and some type of glasses.  He had short salt and pepper hair, a moustache and a beard.       

He was last seen leaving the area on foot.  He stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency.
