CONCORD – Jason Allen Vincent Conlee, 28, of 8643 Newgrass Lane, Charlotte, was killed in an accident yesterday afternoon. Conlee, was driving a 2004 Nissan 350Z on Central Avenue, traveling to Kannapolis when he lost control of his vehicle around 5 p.m. The car left the right hand side of the roadway, flipped and crashed into a vehicle that was parked at a business.

A passenger in the vehicle, Jason Wayne Barfield, 21, of 5601 Prosperity Church Road, Charlotte, was taken to Northeast Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries.

Speed was a contributing factor to the accident. The Concord Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit investigated the accident.
