KANNAPOLIS, NC – The Kannapolis Intimidators, the Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, will host their annual Fan Fest Event on Saturday, March 28 at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. Fans are invited to get ready for the 2009 season with the Intimidators while enjoying hot dogs, music, games and prizes. The event is free to the public.

The party will get underway at 10:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m. Fans in attendance can pick their favorite seats for the upcoming games, register to win prizes, book their group outing or birthday party, check out the conference room and suites or pick up their season tickets. The Intimidation Station Souvenir Store will be open with new gear for 2009 and game-worn jerseys will also be for sale. Inflatable games will be set up on the concourse for kids and the Intimidators mascot Dub will be in attendance.

“Fan Fest is a great way to kick off another fun-filled season of Intimidators baseball,” General Manager Randy Long said. “This is a great opportunity to stop by and preview all the new and exciting happenings at the ballpark. We’re looking forward to fans coming out and experiencing some good family fun.”

Fans are reminded to use the Moose Rd. entrance due to the closed bridge on Stadium Drive. Access to Moose Rd. off Lane Street is at China Grove Rd. or Turkey Rd.
