Concord – Cabarrus Business magazine announced today that it will be moving to a paid subscription, effective for the April/May issue. Readers who wish to have their copy mailed directly to their home or business will now be asked to pay a nominal subscription charge of $20 per year (six issues).
“This is simply a cost-saving measure,” said Publisher and co-owner, Jason Huddle. “We want to ensure that everyone to whom we mail CBM wants to receive the magazine. This does not mean, however, that we will be reducing the number of magazines printed.” Rather, Huddle said the number of distribution outlets, where readers will still be able to obtain a copy free of charge, will be increased over the coming months to ensure the magazine is readily available to the public.
