F&M Bank has announced the promotion of Kay J. Yates to Vice President.  Kay has over 34 years of experience with F&M in all aspects of retail banking and has most recently served as Branch Manager of the Avalon Drive Branch in Salisbury. 

Kay, an East Rowan area native, has returned to that market and will serve as Manager of the Rockwell Branch of F&M.  She will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of this full-service branch office and will also serve in a lending and business development capacity.

Kay brings a tremendous amount of professionalism, experience and energy to any location in which she serves and will provide the same for the citizens in the Rockwell community and surrounding areas.

Kay attends Faith Baptist Church and also serves her community; she is on the Board of Directors for the Salisbury-Rowan Community Service Council and is involved with the Rowan County Board of Realtors, the Chamber of Commerce and the Salisbury Lions Club.
