Albemarle - - Bill Lawhon, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Stanly, is pleased to announce that Ryan Story has joined Bank of Stanly as Vice President and Relationship Manager, working in the Oakboro and western Stanly County market. 

          Mr. Story began his career in 1998 and has over 6 years’ financial services experience, most recently concentrated in the consumer finance and wholesale mortgage industries.   On Mr. Story’s decision to join Bank of Stanly, Mr. Lawhon commented, “We are proud to have Ryan as a part of our hometown banking family, and are excited he will be coming “home” to provide service to the Oakboro community.”

          Ryan received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the Appalachian State University, and is a 1994 graduate of West Stanly High School.  He resides with his family in the Oakboro community.
