Free Diabetes Clinic

Better Health will offer a free diabetes clinic at the Spring Lake Senior Center, located on 301 Ruth St., on the second Wednesday of every month from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

The clinic will be open to all the residents of Cumberland County, and no registration is required.

Participants of the clinic will be able to meet personally with a nurse for consultation, and at 10 a.m. a 30-minute class will be held.

The clinic will also provide blood pressure and blood sugar checks, weight checkups as well as diabetes screenings for those not yet diagnosed with diabetes.

Limited diabetic supplies will be offered for low income clients.

In addition to their new Spring Lake location, Better Health hosts other free clinics at 1422 Bragg Blvd. and at Gray’s Creek Recreation Center in Fayetteville.
