Southern rock gods 38 Special come to Kannapolis for this free show. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a comfy spot to enjoy the music.

The Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the arrival of the 2017 Summer Event Series. All concerts/movies in the park are free of charge. There is no ticket price or charge for admission.

Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics/coolers are permitted and concessions will be available.

Please NO pets, tobacco, grilling, glass bottles or outside alcohol brought in. Coolers will be checked at several entry points. Village Park is a TOBACCO FREE facility. A Beer and Wine tent will be open during concerts for alcohol sales, ID is required.

Parking for all events will be available at the outer parking lots along Dale Earnhardt Blvd. and down West C Street (overflow near the YMCA/Library). During concerts, the Village Park parking lot is reserved for handicap parking only (valid handicap placard or license plate required).
