Black Gold: NC Slavery and Reed Gold Mine

Our Lead Interpreter will host a presentation and discussion for Black History Month which focuses on the enslaved population of this area and North Carolina's gold mining history. This program will be hosted every Saturday at 1:00 pm in February for a cost of $2.00 for individuals 8 years old and older. Please, join us in telling this story which deserves to be heard.
