Exploring the Four Traditions of Philanthropy with Elizabeth Lynn

How does your giving and serving fit into the larger landscape of American philanthropy? Elizabeth Lynn, Founder & Director of the Center for Civic Reflection at Valparaiso University, will examine the four distinctive philanthropic traditions in the United States: philanthropy as relief, philanthropy as social reform, philanthropy as civic engagement, and philanthropy as improvement. Light breakfast refreshments will be provided at 8:30 a.m. Speaker at 9 a.m.
