The Fascinating Life of Hilbert A. Fisher

presented by Prof. Nick McEntire of RCCC

After graduation from Mount Pleasant Collegiate Academy in 1911, Hilbert A. Fisher went on to lead the kind of life of which many can only dream. Continuing his education at the United States Naval Academy, where he starred on the baseball diamond, he went on to serve honorably in World War I. After completing his military service, Fisher  served in important roles at Mont Amoena Seminary, North Carolina State University, and even the Atlantic Coast Conference. Fisher may well be MPCI's most accomplished graduate and he certainly an important figure in our state's development during the 20th Century.
