Cabarrus Magazine's 2016 Halloween Guide Presented by CiCi's Pizza and Splash Auto Spa

Oct 01, 2016 07:00AM ● By Melanie Heisinger
Fall is here! That means that the weather is starting to get cooler, leaves are starting to change color, and pumpkin spice is everywhere. It is an exciting time of the year for the whole family. Finding a fun pumpkin patch to visit is a big part of that, too.

We've compiled some local-area pumpkin patches and corn mazes that would be great to visit, sorted by county. Also, included are some exciting upcoming events that you won't want to miss, presented by CiCi's Pizza and SPLASH Auto Spa.

Cabarrus County

Riverbend Farm

Contact: (704) 888-2891

Location: 12150 McManus Road, Midland, NC 28107

As fall approaches, Riverbend Farm will begin its 24th year in the pumpkin business. They have grown 20 acres of pumpkins with, hopefully, a few surprises.

They've had their farm open to the public on weekends for the last 16 years during the month of October. If you will look around on your next visit, every building with the exceptions of the Corn Crib and the Tool Shed was built or put back together by Farmer Jim and helpers. They've added 5 large slides from 24' to 42' long! Come try their Air Cannon and shoot 2 apples at the school bus for a $1.

For more information about hours and pricing, you can visit their website
