The Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church Mission Team will be returning to Honduras in March 2017 to install another water filtration system in a community.
Their leaders have been trained by Living Waters for the World in the areas of building and maintaining the system, water testing, hygiene, and Biblical aspects of water. They are equipped to develop a clean water covenant with the community. We will have a 2 to 3 year partnership with the community leaders to help with the operation and maintenance of the system as well as provide the most current educational materials for the residents.

Want to help the homeless this holiday? Check out Baimellion's Giving!
Baimellon's Giving started as a small Christmas project for my family but has turned into something much, much greater. What began as a donation of bare necessities to my local homeless shelter has amazed me by transforming to a larger and more personal Christmas gift to the families and individuals who spend their Christmas holiday in the shelter. Each shelter resident receives a backpack full of stuff! Curious about how much each bag costs? Lets break it down! With a total budget of $1,300, $300 is designated to any children who may spend their Christmas in the shelter. This leaves $1,000 is spent on the bags. So with 30 bags being made with $1,000, each bag costs $33.33!
For less than $35, you and your family can give an individual a backpack with a variety of items including, but not limited to, a blanket, toothbrush and tooth paste, soap, bible and devotionals, notebook and pen, socks, snacks and water, and a holiday card with a $5 McDonalds gift card!
Want to help? There are a variety of ways to do so! First, “Like" my Facebook Page, Baimellon’s Giving. Next, invite your family and friends to “Like” the page as well! Once you’ve liked the page, read over my past posts and visit my GoFundMe campaign where you see a full budget laid out for you and if you wish to and are able to, donate while you’re there! Lastly, whether you can donate or not, share the campaign with the people around you to help me accomplish my goal of giving a great Christmas to some very deserving people in our community!Visit their website for me information, or visit their GoFundMe page to make a donation.
