Where to Catch Fireworks in Cabarrus County this 4th of July

Summer is officially here! That means BBQs, picnics, and plenty of pool time. It also means that Independence Day is right around the corner. 

There are so many great places in and around the Cabarrus County area to not only catch some fireworks, but to celebrate the 4th of July this 2018. Read on to find out what to do this year and where to catch some fireworks. 

Harrisburg July 4th Celebration

Join the city of Harrisburg in Harrisburg Park for the 21st annual July 4th Celebration to Celebrate our Independence!

Enjoy two days of fun including amusements, food, entertainment and two nights of fireworks. A combination of 23 rides and inflatables will be at this year’s event. 

The schedule for both days is as follows:

Tuesday, July 3, 2018: Festival at Harrisburg Park (4 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)

Wednesday, July 4, 2018: Parade on Highway 49 in Harrisburg (9 a.m.) and Festival at Harrisburg Park (4 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.)

Fireworks Viewing Locations

If you enjoy the fireworks during the July 4th Celebration in Harrisburg, NC but prefer to not partake in the festivities in Harrisburg Park, we are happy to offer Park and View locations. The City of Harrisburg has ranked the locations based on the amount of the fireworks show you will be able to see from each site.

Fireworks shoot site:
The fireworks will be shot from the lawn next to the overflow parking lot at Harrisburg Park. Therefore, you may have been able to view the fireworks from alternate locations last year that may not be visible this year.

Excellent - 90-100% of the show
Zmax Blvd. Parking Lots - We offer event parking off of Zmax Blvd. in Harrisburg. This is also an optimal viewing location for the fireworks show. Zmax Blvd. is located off Highway 49 between Morehead Road and Interstate 485.

Fair - 50-75% of the show

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular!

What's more classic than a baseball game in celebration of America's Independence? Celebrate the 4th of July with the tradition of a ballgame, a cold drink and a hotdog! The Kannapolis Intimidators take on the Hickory Crawdads.

Following the game there will be a spectacular fireworks show that you won't want to miss! First pitch vs. the Hickory Crawdads is at 7:05 p.m.
