The Cabarrus Arts Council is closing out it's last exhibition of 2018 with a bang. 28 potters signed on to showcase their pieces for the Clay exhibition in The Galleries.
The Clay exhibition opened November 8th, 2018 and will be open through January 26th, 2019. 18 of the 28 potters that Curator Rebecca Collins invited are new to The Galleries, making it that much more exciting.
These potters are from all over North Carolina and each have their own specialty in what they do with clay. Some prefer vases, some prefer mugs. It all comes down to what each artist does with this clay that makes them unique.
The Cabarrus Arts Council is currently working on a 7-part video series that features each artist and their specialty. Included in this article are the 3 that are currently available. Be sure to follow them on Facebook to catch the entire series.
Visit The Galleries to catch this amazing exhibit at 65 Union Street South in Downtown Concord. They are open Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm, and it's always free to get in.
