Race fans from all 50 states and nine foreign countries will flock to Concord, North Carolina this weekend for the Can-Am World Finals at The Dirt Track.

In addition to visitors from across the nation, Charlotte Motor Speedway confirmed ticket holders traveling from Australia, Canada, England, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Tanzania, Japan and the Netherlands. While some hotels still have availability in Cabarrus County, area accommodations are filling fast as The Dirt Track quickly paces toward an 11th sellout year for the Saturday night event.

With near sellout crowds expected on both Thursday and Friday as well, visitors are encouraged to make their reservations now and contact the Cabarrus County Visitor Center for assistance with planning their race weekend in “Where Racing Lives.”

“We look forward to welcoming all of the fans, crews, drivers and families joining us for this world-class event,” said Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau President and CEO, Donna Carpenter. “With tools like the Destination & Motorsports Guide, our team is ready to provide assistance for visitors and residents alike to enhance the already incredible experience at The Dirt Track.”

In addition to resources available at the Visitor Center and online at, the Cabarrus County CVB’s Mobile Visitor Center will be onsite throughout the weekend in The Dirt Track’s Fan Zone with games, giveaways and information to explore all that Cabarrus County has to offer.
