Code Ninjas Camps

June 15 - August 24

Game Builders Club: June 15-19, July 20-24 (Age ranges: 7-12)

Build your very own video game every single day! Your coding and critical thinking skills around how to build games will progress further each day. Games are made in Scratch, a block-based programming language.


App Builders Club: June 15-19, August 17-21 (Age ranges: 7-12)

Brainstorm and build your own app using the MIT App Inventor! Plan, design, and prototype an app using a visual programming environment and build that app for smartphones and tablets using this block-based programming tool. 


Roblox Royal: June 22-26, July 27-31 (Age ranges 10-15)

If you like playing Fortnite, you`ll love building your own Battle Royale in Roblox! Roblox account required(free).


Beginning Javascript: June 22-26, August 10-14 (Age ranges 10-15)

Create numerous JavaScript applications that can run in a browser or on a server using node.j. This camp is not strictly game based, so if you are looking for a deeper introductory grasp of real coding, this camp is for you!


Web Dev in HTML/CSS: June 29- July 3, July 27-31 (Age ranges 10-15)

Web Dev camp covers the essential tools that are the foundation of almost every site on the World Wide Web! HTML is the foundation behind web pages used to add structure and form to text, images, and more. CSS is the language used to style the HTML content. Learn the fundamentals of both languages to create your own website and how to make it stand out.


Codrones: June 29-July 3 (Age ranges 10-15)

Code comes to life by coding a programmable drone! Learn how to make drones do a series of tricks and follow certain flight paths with every new day coming with a new circuit courses for students to program and fly.


Minecraft Modding: July 13-17, August 10-14 (Age ranges 10-15)

Modify Minecraft using JavaScript and create new gameplay experiences like skeletons that shoot lightning!

Python: July 13-17 (Age ranges 10-15)

Coding skills are among the most demanding skills in today's job market. Get your real-world experience with this introduction to computational thinking. Learn how to code, edit and problem-solve through basic concepts in this one-week course to create projects in Python. 


Minecraft Create: July 20-24 (Age ranges 7-12)

A project- filled camp where you use MCEdit and TinkerCAD to build 3D objects and import them into your Minecraft world! This is the perfect environment for you to learn about editing and modeling 3D objects, practice solving Redstone circuit puzzles,  and interact with their fellow Minecraft lovers.

RoboPRO: August 17-21 (Ages ranges 7-12)

This camp offers a series of activities using Code Ninjas Robotics Toolbox with Arduino. Full of beginner and advanced projects, you will tackle robotics, coding and engineering.

WinShape Camp

Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA

 Through summer day camps, the Rowan-Cabarrus YMCA provides kids with a variety of imaginative activities that nurture their spirits, challenge their minds and make their bodies healthy and strong. Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County

Summer Program operates from June to August during the months when children are out of school for summer break.  The program is for rising 1st through rising 9th graders, and is open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday. Registration begins each year in February and continues until the program reaches capacity.

Lego Extreme Ninjas!

Dates: June 29 - July 3

In this action-packed camp children will build motorized and Brick LEGO models, compete in Spinjitzu tournaments, show off their building skills and take on new challenges as we journey through the world of LEGO Ninjago and other popular ninjas. Imagination & creativity will abound as campers build cool models, customize battle arenas, tools, vehicles and more!


Lego World of Imagination

Dates: July 6 - 10

Get excited for a World of Imagination! At Bricks 4 Kidz, join the adventure as we dive into the world of Disney, beginning with classics such as Mickey and Minnie. Do you want to build a snowman? How about an adventure under the sea? LEGO Bricks come to life as we travel through Disney’s most popular characters and themes. Spark your imagination as we build your Disney inspired favorites!


Lego Pirate Adventure

Date: July 20 -24

Campers will have an Arrgh-fully good week of building! Sailing the seven seas and building tall-towered castles is what this camp is all about. Your young Pirates will learn about the engineering of pirate ships, a helm, swinging anchors and much more. Campers will build motorized and Brick LEGO models, play games and make crafts. Chomping alligators and working catapults are all part of the fun, so lower the gate and raise the anchor as we get ready for a week of adventure.


Lego Video Game Adventures

Date: August 3-7

Jump into the world of video games! Eat flashing dots, collect coins and rings, invade aliens…there are so many obstacles to overcome and levels to beat! Campers will build motorized and Brick LEGO builds of the most current video games like Fortnite, as well as some classics such Minecraft, Pokemon, Super Mario Bros and more!

Carolina Courts 

Basketball Camp

 This is the overall basketball summer camp experience. Campers will work on fundamentals such as ball handling, shooting, defense, rebounding, etc... Toward the middle of the day and after lunch, campers will participate in fun games such as dribble knockout, shooting knockout, etc... Campers will end the day incorporating the skills they've worked on into a game like setting with controlled scrimmages.

Carolina Courts Volleyball Camps 

Carolina Courts Recreational Volleyball allows athletes at all stages of their volleyball journey to be introduced to the skills and strategy necessary to being a strong asset to any team.

Recreational Volleyball doesn't stop there, the more advanced programs allow these fundamentals to be stretched to an overall understanding of the game on a competitive level. The skills taught within the Recreational Level are presented to each athlete in a way that ensures success before advancing to the next step with volleyball at Carolina Courts.

Camp Cannon

Camp Cannon consists of weekly enrichment sessions focused on The Arts & Academics, College Prep, SciTech, and Sports for students from ages 3 to 18. Campers learn while having fun on our 65-acre campus which includes state-of-the-art classroom facilities and performing arts center, two gymnasiums, a dance studio, a strength and conditioning center, athletic fields, track, tennis courts, and wooded wetlands.

SMACK Summer Camp

Dates: June 15-27

Times: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

Ages: 2nd - 10th grade

SMACK is one of the top Musical Theater summer camps for kids in the nation. Students come together and rehearse a broadway show for two weeks and then perform the production in front of a live audience with full sets and costumes. This year's summer production will be MOANA.

Challenger Soccer Camp

Attack & Counter Basketball Camp


Dates: August 4 -6

For serious basketball players - boys and girls from 7th grade to 12th grade. The camp is run

  by NBA skills coach Don Kelbick. The focus is on footwork, aggressiveness, mentality, and all around offensive skills (including ball handling and shooting).

Diamond B Stables Horse Camp

Dates: June 23 - 25, July 7 - 9, July 21 -23
Times: 9:00AM - 3:00PM
Cost: $195 or $65 per day

Horse camps at Diamond Stables are fun and educational! Camps are poplar for kids ages 6 to 12 years old, and from beginner to advanced riders.  Activities and games are centered on developing better horsemanship, team work, and riding. Teaching riders better horsemanship will help them know how to care for and interact with horses and others.  We stress safety above all else!
