The loss of a loved one from suicide due to severe mental illnesses can be devastating. Our own Kimberly Brouillette experienced this terrible tragedy with the loss of her daughter over 1 1/2 years ago after a 4 1/2 year battle with paranoid schizophrenia. Kimberly shares what she's learned by taking a look at the system within NC itself, and what can be done to help those faced with these battles, and to improve efforts to improve mental health treatment and work with other advocates to cause much-needed changes to the policies affecting the millions of people affected by these severe brain disorders.
